    spreading viruses

While the World Health Organization (WHO) is keen on monitoring the A(H1N)1 pandemic, some individuals are also busy on spreading viruses on the net. Be alert for both attacks!

Depends how you define "virus", as opposed to general malware. I think of viruses as self-duplicating.

Every computer has viruses. Some are bad and some are good ones. We have to get rid of bad ones.

Virus can harm your system anytime and currupt the valuable data stored in your computer so it is better to have an antivirus to protect to deal yourself in such kind of situation.

Computer Viruses spread very easily if your system is unprotected. Basically if you have some sort of internal unprotected private network going on then its very likely that the virus might jump.

Viruses spread through programs, boot sector, macros and email. Out of these now only mail and programs are still at large. For ex : Programs like Microsoft office may get affected, later versions are less vulnerable but still are possible to be infected. So you definitely need to put an antivirus program in your system.
