Well, well. I know that google penalize for hidden links, and for everything witch in strange with link building. I wanted to know if it's wrong what I want to do... I use the following css code to hide my links: Code (text): .hidelink { display:none;} And here comes the html code, where I insert the links: Code (text): <div class="hidelink">My links goes here</div> Do you think, that I make something stupid hiding links with this strategy and can affect my SEO or my website rankings?
hmm it would probably be classed as a little black hat, Remember that search engines can still see the HTML code so can see if the links. im not sure what benefit you would get from hiding the link ? what type of link are you hiding ? If you was to do this with text which contained lots of keywords then this would def be black hat and a possible penalty would be done if you were found out
Hidden links, no matter via tiny text or background color text or via CSS, would all be treated as black hat ones, IMO.
That wasn't a good idea search engines can detect it and it will lead you to a penalty or totally ban. I will not recommend this for every one, its a big no - no.
Hidden links are offense by rule of Google .It is traced by spiders & google punish that site . So it is advisible not to use hidden links . :xyes:
