this is why I like WP. They have an automatic pinger built in. You can get fast results even with joomla or other CMS but then you have to ping your rss manually.
Doesn't seem to really make a differenc for me. I have been able to rank with wp and html sites. I know many believe wp is more seo friendly than html, but it has been a tossup for me.
Wordpress can index easily by Google and like blogspot they can even generate traffic and backlink as well.
I don't think so, Even though Wordpress offers lots of SEO friendly plugins due to this wordpress is considered good. But Google provides importance to the blogs which have rich and quality content.
Google will love your wordpress blog only if you present your blog in a nice way. Meaning use strategies/plugins that can really help Google identify your site and the contents of it of course. But, I've heard that Google loves blogger more since they actually own it.

Wordpress structure is good for seo so Google likes it. I have ever created blog from wordpress and get indexed very quickly.
wordpress is ok for seo...you need to download the "All In One SEO Pack" but I don't think your site bein indexed immediately has anything to do with it being a wordpress site. Not to knock the free CMS...I love wordpress but I am getting more into Joomla currently and I am liking the functionality. Anyone know wich one is better for SEO wordpress of Joomla??
I think so because I just created a blog yesterday and today when i search some keywords related to the blog, and the blog appears in Google SERs. That's so wownderful!!!
