Google has written in their webmaster blog today about sites that have been hacked and malicious websites inserted into a completely inocent website.

    Take a look here :

    http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2009/11/generic-******-on-my-website-i-think-my.html

Google explain how you can Use the "Fetch googlebot" feature and it will crawl your site like google so you can check for cloaking.

Many people ( including me ) have been the victim of these kind of attacks and for around 6 months i didnt even know the site had been hacked , the only time i knew was when my ranking got wiped from serps and the site was de-indexed.

TIP : If you are experiencing your site being slow for no reason , this is some thing else to try .It could be something malicious thats causing it

Nice find river though i haven't experience that kind of hacking, i think it was very useful at least i know things like what you have shared. With that information i do some preventive measures not to experience such things.

I never heard about this, and never find this activity on my websites before. I will check them...

    Thanks for the info!
