Googlebot is a software program, which is used by Google to gather all the web-documents, web-pages, HTML documents from your blog or website. It collects all the page from your blog and website to build a search index, according to Google Search Engine. Googlebot use the crawling process to search new pages or modified pages on your blog. It is also known as Google's web crawling robot that uses the robot.txt file in your webmaster's directory. It also uses meta tag from head section of your index page. Googlebot only follows the hyperlink reference (href) and source link (src) of your blog and website.
