I used one I found on the net but how accurate are they?

My site used to appear high in google, sometimes on the first page for certain words, and now it's not even there anymore!

The tool states that my site is not banned, but I hear there is this sandbox thing?

How accurate is that? And why would I get so de-indexed with them? This sucks! My sales has gone down a lot for this.

Google is such a monopoly money hungry GIANT!

Actually sandbox is the effect or a penalty by Google. It applied by Google and temporarily reduce the page rank of new domains and placing it into what they called sandbox. This happens when search engine optimizers attempt to manipulate Google's page ranking to bring sites into top. Sometimes creating lots of inbound links to a new web site from other sites that they own is one cause of it.

But there is a reversed sandbox that exists where the new pages with good content and without inbound links are temporarily increased in its rank. Its like a new released book in a book store that are displayed prominently to encourage buyers.

Sandbox is applied only on new sites which are not older than 12 months and and Google caught them suspicious. It happens when someone does very aggresive and some illegal SEO on news sites to bring them top in the SERPs.

If your site is older then 12 months then no worry you have been penalized by Google or Google is just going to review your site. If then will find all the tings fine then you will get your ranking back. Meanwhile, you just have patience and don't do any more activities.

It was recently rumored that Comcast is planning on further punishing heavy users by introducing metered bandwidth use, and monthly caps. Meanwhile, in the UK, the CEO of Virgin media, the second largest British ISP caused uproar by claiming that this net neutrality thing is a load of bollocks.

My personal opinion - I think ban detection tools are a waste of time.

If you want to know if a site is banned, just do a google search for the domain name.

    Hi friend,
I agree with kev. Because using ban detection tools are not very useful. You must go to Google and search your site, if it appear then no ban, otherwise it is banned.
