What do you think about this news Midlandi?

When I read news like this, I wish Microsoft would purchase Yahoo ASAP so they can put some pressure on Google

Why is it most other industries are controlled by Monopolys Commisions yet this area is not?
It makes me cross that they have such a hold over the internet.
The only way forward that i can see is they would have to be made to fragment the company giving them a lesser stronghold and improving fair competition.
Off topic slightly but trawling through Google earlier looking for news on the adsense site being down i noticed Premium ads (the right hand side bar) where sites are advertising "make $1000's with our ready made adsense sites" surley Google should be stopping this, the sites have no content and are of no benefit to anyone other than the site owner. The poor old adwords customer is being ripped off.Ok i'll stop ranting now!!!

Uh-oh, I don't like this. The Big G is turning into a monopoly. That's bad.

I agree, it is trying to grab hold of the internet and at the moment no one can probably stop them
