I have been seeing threads in other forums concerning Global Domains International affiliate program and it seems the responses are mixed between it being one of the best affiliate programs out there and it being a scam. Looked further into it and now I have a few questions as well that I hope someone can answer.
First: They promote it being free, but it seems you have to sign up for a domain name ($10 a month) with them in order to participate in the program. Is this true? and if so why do you have to have a domain name with them to promote there services? Most people already have well established domains and websites to use.
Second: How does the process work? Its seems it is like a pyramid scheme where you receive commission from the people who sign up under you and the people that sign up under them and so on and so on. Is this the process and are there any other catches to it?

To be honest ive never personally looked into these guys, although i wouldnt sign up to anyone that expected me to pay $10 a month for a domain for the privilege to promote them. Im sure there are plenty of other affiliates out there.

I forgot to mention with the domain name they say you get a website builder, 10 email accounts and hosting on their WS servers. But I still agree, why have to pay in order to promote for them? I would think they would be happy to just have you promoting their products without paying. Every affiliate program I have come across with or have signed up with is free. Seems odd, that’s why I am wondering if it is legit, and if so, is it worth it?

GDI is a legitimate company. The affiliate program is nice I have been getting paid by them for years and it is easy to have a website
up and running in no time. GDI has been around for I think 9 years and is still going strong

If anyone would like to try GDI out for free for 30 days just PM me or send me an email

If you want to cancel a gdi account you need to call them , that is the only way.
Another way is to change the data of the credit card, this way they get an error, and after a month without paying they will cancel. They will send you some email demanding the money before they cancel it.

Thanks for all the useful comments. Seems you do not have to pay for the domain name in order to become an affiliate. I have decided to stay away from there Website builder for now, but may use it with a new site I will be building in a few months. Until then I have become an affiliate of theirs to get use to the way they run things. Looks like a lot of people have had successful websites through them. Thanks again.

    Global Domains International (GDI)

Global Domains International (GDI) is not a scam BUT (a BIG but) its piratically impossible to be successful with it.

    I joined GDI when i was 14.......yeah.

I'm 21 now and I'm still with them, earning over $2500/month but I've only recently achieved that income. It took me almost 8 YEARS to achieve success....

If your looking for a long-term income for full time work....then team up with them and start working!

Stating the above, I did recently have a look at some of my really old blog posts i made promoting GDI when i first joined.......i couldn't understand a single sentence in them.

So ya-know.....maybe it was just me. I was 14 at the time but i NEVER gave up, i got really close but never actually did.

    anyway, BEST of luck!

Absolutely, if they want you to buy a domain name before joining their affiliate program, then its really not worth. Because most of the affiliate programs are for Free to join.

Yes Most of Affiliate programs are Free to join. You can buy the domain name before joining them if you want to reserve your domain so that no one can not register it and you will lose it.

I can only say, they're trying to make money as more as possible.
