What are your Alexa traffic ranks? Do you feel that they, or any of the other information on Alexa is of any importance?

Our new Filehosting site has just gone sub 100k and is currently @ 98,773 and the next goal is sub 50k that will be more of a challenge although Alexa does not really mean alot these days its more of a fun indicator its good to see that we are heading in the right direction.

Is a search engine spyware as well? Why do you optimize for SEs then?

Nice. Have you invested any money into it? (I'm trying to see how good of a website I can make with investing as little as possible. So far, all I've paid for is web hosting).

I have noticed fluctuation in my alexa rank. I have an alexa rank about 350k when I have about 2k visitors daily but I am getting about 4k visitors one day but the alexa is at about 450k.

So, I think alexa is only a number for reference purpose.
