As you know nofollow backlinks will not pass any pagerank to outbound links. But i heard is some places that nofollow backlinks pass a small part of pagerank to outbound links but this ratio is very smaller than dofollow ones.
    Whats your idea about it?

The nofollow tag is actually designed for the bots to actual no crawl, i.e dont follow the link, however there has been some talk for as long as i can remember that in fact the bot does crawl it and does actually give some weight to the fact that the link is there , whether you believe that or not however is entirely up to you.

Actually, the nofollow tag gives traffic so if i were you i will not neglect this one because traffic is important too in every site and besides. Traffics will help you rank your Alexa rankings as well as gives popularity.

Actually I don't care too much on links are dofollow or nofollow. If a link can bring traffic or be counted as a backlink, then I think it is a good one.

Yes, I tend to agree. Any link is a good link--from sources such as directory submissions and press releases--that includes the keyword in the anchor text. Don’t be too focused on what type of link or its source.

There is some benefit to a nofollow backlink. The name is a little confusing, it should really be rel=nopassonpagerank. Nofollow links still get "followed" and could be a decent way to get a page indexed. Also, Google say build for people not search engines, and nofollow doesn't stop a user clicking the link

One additional theory I heard is that it is always good to have a balance of do follow and also no-follow links to make it look more natural. One of the more obscure ones I've heard, and it sounds like more of a theory than anything.

"One important thing is Google search engine keep changing their search engine algorithms, and I read some article sometime before ‘not follow’ tag, some time Google treating as’ do follow’ . But some time they treat as not follow. So better to do link only ‘do follow’ not follow back links are not good quality links”

You're right but NoFollow links are not counted as backlink for Google.

As my knowledge nofollow links increase the traffic they are not beneficial in PR and dofollow links are beneficial to make PR.

No follow and Dofollow criteria are different for all the search engine as like Google have not give any pr juice value for nofollow link but Yahoo ! and Bing passes pr juice for nofollow link

then I am not sure about it always no follow link are bad its depend on search engine
    .................................

if you need ranking in yahoo Bing then make no follow link have sure increase traffic on your website and passes pr juice

    No no no no,

Nofollows do NOT pass any linkjuice what so ever.

This is something that I have seen online many many many times by novice SEO professionals.

Again Nofollow do NOT pass any linkjuice what so ever, BUT the SEARCH ENGINES still count them as a link "which they are" and if that link is accompanied with ANCHOR TEXT then this measurement is still used to provide ranking on SERP and info to the SE's of the content on that page.

I hope that clears it up.

    Cheers,
    Joe

I too am under the impression that there is some credibility given to no follow links, but significantly less than do follow links. Anyone know the exact measurements here?
