of course you can use anchor text when you do blog commenting i do that but you have to limit your anchor text so that you won't be considered as a spammer and there are blog site who allowed those anchor text but only few.

I use anchor text always. I think is not to bad to get penalized, or it is?

I use anchor text, but I also use different anchor text with a wide variety of keywords.

In all, I use like 5 or 6 different anchor text.

No not always bad but ive seen alot of people penalised for the keyword that they have used on blog comments so its not something i usually practice. Just wanted to know what other people think about it .

Diversity is good, Without Keyword diversity im a firm believer your are setting your self up for a possible fall .

Having the same anchor text all the time looks unnatural

And I think that is why you have seen sites get a penalty. The person probably used the same anchor text over and over instead of mixing it up a litle bit.

It is better to use different variety of keywords when you comment on blog using anchor text. I do that always, fortunately i haven't get penalized with that I think its okay to do that thing. Just don't over do it.

Of course, using keywords and their variants are a general practice in building backlinks. But I think the anti-spam add-on for wordpress might be misused by competitors and the blog owners in getting unfair competitive strength. :)

Using different anchor text with a wide variety of keywords will never appear as spam in the eyes of Google. This can be practiced.

I use my own name before, but I read another way that may work out. It goes like this name@keyword.
