My site is back, and when it gets bigger I will move it to one of my vps account with another hosting company. LP has let me down, and I will never go back to them again.

I'm glad to hear that you solved your problem.

I already moved my main websites to other companies, but I still host with them some smaller sites, because my account expire only in 3 years, so why not use their service?

    Hi, proweb

It looks like really bad experiences for you with lunarpages.
I use hosting package from bluehost and hostmonster. My questions would usually be resolved within 24 hours. So far so good.

    Have a nice day,

Why not use them ? Well, the speed is good, the features are good, problem is that when you experience major problems, they are not their to help, for example I accidentally delete me .htaccess file, I wanted to get it restored, and the reply was that either create a empty one (Which I know of) or pay them $75 for that. as far as I know that many hosts would do that anyway for free as part of their service.

bluehost is nice, never had any problems so far with them, nor vps.net.

Lunarpages is a good hosting company...I have a had a few problems but most of them have gotten completely resolved. Problems arise every now and then but at least with dedicated support they get resolved as soon as I call...even 24/7.

I have a friend that purchased hosting form LP a couple of months ago. The only issue he had with them was at the beginning with some file uploads. He says they have great customer support and they worked the problem out for him. I highly value his opinion so I have included them on a list on one of my sites as a top host provider. Here is the list if you woud like to view it. http://www.wizardofthewebsites.com/Finding_a_Website_Host.html

we'd been with lunarpages for almost 3 years now and we're planning to renew our hosting on May.
i know you're issue had been solved but i just don't get the part where someone said they suspended your account because you're using a lot of bandwidth? aren't they offering UNLIMITED bandwidth and diskspace now? (or did we missed something?)

regarding the support, if you don't get a reply via email as soon you want to, i suggest you register on their forum lunarforums.com and see who's staff is online, i'm sure they'll be glad to help you out with any of your problems. been doing that for the past year and i am very much satisfied not only with their hosting service but with their customer support as well

Thats very bad. A company should give 24x7 support to his Clients. I refer you to purchase a hosting plan from any other good company and transfer your hosting to it. Tell me your requirements so that i will suggest you some good service provides who offers 24x7 Technical support, 99.9% uptime, back ups and also 30 days money back guarantee.
