1. I've started a massive SPAM purge, any accounts that have spammed are being removed, also for a short period new user signups are disallowed until the SPAM cleaning is finished.

Do you agree with me?

Cool. I have to agree, long are often good for SEO. I prefer shorter ones. As the ease of remembering the domain is easier!! ;)

If mouth-publicity will be one of your methods of promotion or if you want to make a brand out of it, just look for a short domain-name. Whether it makes sense or not doesnt matter much (e.g. squidoo, orkut, ezinearticles etc). On the other hand, I agree that long domain names with keywords are good for SEO purposes.

Well i think it sounds easy but actually so many domains have already been taken that people are left with very few options of short domain names. which can make things difficult to handle. but again i would prefer short catchy and yet easy to remember.

I agree mostly. Short and catchy is easy to remember for referrals, but if the business is bad, then there's no point in the name. I would never choose a long domain name where people can barely remember how to spell/type the address.

Yes short and catchy is good for traffic. And it's also said that google no longer look for keywords in the domain name. Bing on the other hand prefers websites with keywords in their domain name.

I can agree that a short domain name are easy to remember, but a longer describing name for your business can be just as good than a short name that don't have any meaning
