Does IPS care that they have pirated software on the market? They never do anything about it, whereas Jelsoft will jail you for it, they will just contact your host asking them to shut you down, but if your host does not, that is as far as they will take it. I think they care, but just don't have the money or extra time (since they have so many projects they are working on) to deal with a nulled software of any type.
The way I think of it is there current version is IP. Board 2.3.3 If you run IP. Board 2.3.2 and lower, they dont seem to came. All they do is ask your host or you to shut it down.
Yea, I have heard numerous reports that that's all they do, then if you don't, they stop trying to get you to stop right there.
Do you know how much it costs and how much resources is needed to take pirated sites? Jelsoft isn't smart if they're going that far.
Well, of course the company has to make the decision of whether or not taking a pirate/nulled forum offline will be money making, a $100 license or $10,000 court fees, that is the main problem I think. Unless IPS find a certain way of jailing persistent nullers, it is inevitable that they wont try because of the costs. I believe that IPS have taken the Report function from their site because they get so many reports but just don't have the money or time. At the end of the day, if they use tools to create the scripts and they know of tools to decode the script and take things out to null it, they should try to find alternative ways. I know how to null (I dont do it though), but that knowledge came about because I know how to protect from nulling. So IPS do care in some ways, but they dont have the money or time to stop it happening, thousands use the software, and they can do not much more than having callback features which they already have. Sorry if I waffled
