I would like some feedback please on a new URL shortening site,the site is up and running a snmall dedicated server but the thing that i have hit a brick wall over is how to make it look unique,these type of sites are tradionally simple in design so do i keep it as like the norm or do i add my unique touch to it but what do i add. All people require from these type of sites is just to visit get the reduced link and then go and post it on twitter etc,a couple of people have mentioned about the domain name being long my answer would be no some have less than the 7 letters but some of the top sites have infact the same amount one of them being 'tinyurl.com' this has the same amount of letter and that is often seen as the No2 site after bit.ly i am certain its in how you brand and market your site. So do i leave the site as it currently is maybe fine tweak it or add more dsign content,if you look at the basic Google search site it has to be the most basic design going so keeping it simple can work. Any thoughts,ideas,suggestion or anything else regarding the site Url shortening would be most welcome. Thank you for your valuable time
