    Hi,

Difference Between .COM, .NET, And .ORG Domain Names.

.COM is used for commercial and personal sites.
.NET is usually recommended for companies involved in Internet infrastructure.
.ORG is recommended for Non Profit organizations.
    Importance Of Domain Names.

However, there are some similarities in hosting the three domain names:

One can use only letters, numbers, or hyphen ("-") as characters for the site
The domain name cannot begin or end with a hyphen
Two hyphens cannot be used together
The domain name must have less than 63* characters, not including .COM, .NET and .ORG

I Hope This Information Helpful For You All.

    Thanks.

Thank you for sharing this information. I suggest if you build website it should be .com because it is more popular than .net, .org, .info, etc.

Aside for the minor differences in cost. .com and .net domains being about $10/year and .org domains being $15/year there is inherent value in a .com domain.

Have you ever noticed how PorkerStar.NET advertises their FREE internet gambling site for "instructional" play?? Well a lot of people see those ads and go directly to PokerStars.COM. People are programmed to go to the .com domain name. Intrinsically, from a brand recognition standpoint .com domains are more valueble and will most likely get better direct traffic than the reciprocal .net and .org domains all else being equal.

People are used to see .com as it is the most used tld in web history. So if you have some business then it is always good to have .com for your site as some one who heard about company name they will tend to type .com. It worth paying extra for .com.

Sometime you need to follow things over the net, as far as i know the .com thing is the standard one in using domain extension in able to up a site. All you need is choose a good hosting site for you, so that you can have benefit with it.
