1. I've started a massive SPAM purge, any accounts that have spammed are being removed, also for a short period new user signups are disallowed until the SPAM cleaning is finished.

    I was trying to get a review on a web hosting company but I can't post their link as I have insufficient privilege o_O

    So, how many post required to add a link in a thread?

    3o posts generally , Mainly because although its a review it is basically advertising and advertising is only allowed in signatures ( which are allowed after 30 posts ) and the sections which allow reviews and offers , such as the reviews section and the hosting offers section.

    Signatures are dofollow links, however all links with in a post are nofollow to prevent the floods of spam we get daily.

    I think 30 posts to get a signature link is acceptable and most appropriate part is to avoid spam.

    well mostly forums allow after 15 to 20 .

    Yes, I agree you to avoid SPAM we need to follow the rules, 30 posts is acceptable. :)

    You can post link into thread after 30 posts. I think this is good way to keep board away from spam.

    I think you must have minimum 3- posts.
