Children have key quality adults do not; TIME. 13-15 year olds don't really have jobs, so they have a lot of time for their forum.

But maturity isn't something children always on their forum.

It depends what your definition of a child is. I believe that some can be, but others lack the motivation or maturity needed.

As far as having time, children also have something adults don't have, money. It would be hard for a child to support a forum.

Yeah, children can get flamed real bad at times for their childishness, I have seen 13 year olds on digitalpoint get flamed like to the max etc.

And you PM advertised to get a lot of your members.

I've been running forums since I was 13, and I'm only 14 now, they've all turned out decent because I'm professional.

PM Advertising is not good, do it the normal way by posting threads in the advertising section and putting it in your sig.

And this is why InvisionFree forums will start out successful, and lose activity. Advertising on other forums isn't enough.

It seems a lot of administrators don't realize the importance of Search Engine Optimization.

Theres not much you can do to invisionfree boards, except for changing the title and keywords, but with vbulletin you can have zoints seo and have a static urls instead of dynamic urls.

I'm sure they could. They'd need to be mature about things though.

I'm 14 and the best i've done is about 2,000 members.

Some like them are un-mature and cannot run a forum. But kids are getting more and more mature these days, I think that more kids these days could run a forum and make it successful.

I'm only 13, and I know of the consequences of disobeying rules, I'm mature. I can make a board, make a simple skin and continue my progress. I don't toggle with options at all like a child, I just put my head down and get to work, and ignore the the temptations of being immature. :D
