If I want to spin an article that I've already submitted to one of the big article directories, which are the best directories to use for "spun" articles?

Don't know if it's any good, but one I've seen referred to is http://www.articleapps.com/index.php

I may well "spin" the articles manually, but wasn't sure which directories would accept them? Also do the "biggies" like ezine do backwards checks of articles you've already submitted to them? Would they ben you if you later spun an article they've published?

Most of the article directories will accept spun articles if they are spun well. There are some good spinners available that are for free. One of the best that I have found is by Chris Smith, on warriors forum. It is an Excel spinning program and I have a copy of it. It is a free tool. You would have to search for it online or join the warriors forum to get a copy of it.
I have about 9 spinners on my desktop, but the one from Chris is the best, combined with Word Flood.
All of the spinners that I have are all free ones, and some of them are very good.
I sometimes combine the use of them.
I have most of them booked marked on my computer but it would probably take me hours to find the addresses of all of them since I have over a thousand bookmarks.
I will be composing a list and putting it on one of the sites that I write for, very soon.
I would not suggest purchasing one until you get comfortable with some good free ones, and then you might just save yourself some money, because some of the free ones are very good.

I think searching from Google is the best way.

Google m8. You have tons of list. Try searching for

    1. "List of free article submission sites"
    2. "Free blog hosting sites"
