The only reason I like hard coding is because you have more control and if you did mess up you know how you code and could most likely find the error quicker.

I've tried all the other coding programs and love my WordPad

Dreamweaver is good to use but once the page is set up, you dont know how to edit it... Or you get confused...

I disagree, as you can edit in the code or design section and see whats happening as you do it.

No i said that once you do the formatting those codes are pretty difficult to edit but in Notepad you'll have written the code and you'll know where to edit..

I see your point, but in Dreamweaver if you view the code and design when you click in the araea you need to edited it also shows in the code area,is what i meant. Its ideal for non expert coders, and also to learn code as you go along. For example you can add stuff wysiwyg style then view the code this has produced.

And if you change the code manually, it sometimes does not change and the color codes especially get mixed..

I've used Dreamweaver but once I learned hard coding I went to that because it is easier to customize.

I think you haven't full command over it. There is not a single tool of designing webs which don't allow you to edit code or stuff and you are talking about Dreamweaver which is the hot and favorite product of top programmers and coders of this planet. I think someone can perform all the tasks related to graphics and programming with this outclass too.

To Dreamweaver users, Microsoft has stopped the production of its web authoring application Frontpage. Instead it introduced Expression Web. Initial review showed that this can give Dreaweaver a run for its money.

I have tried Dreamweaver and I must admit it is quite easy to use, especially because you don't really need to know how to script. I think it's got lots of cool features and the templates that come with it can be easily customized to make out your own web templates. But I've been using Frontpage for over a year now and I'm more used to it, plus it loads quicker. I don't use Frontpage templates though, because they don't look great, and I also don't care much for Frontpage extensions. I only use the html page there. Notepad ++ is pretty cool too.
