The ALT tag for images is NOT supposed to produce a little tooltip when you mouseover an image, according to the HTML spec. This is supposed to be the job of the TITLE tag. Firefox has never done this for ALT tags, correctly obeying the spec.

The Alt tag should not be producing a tool tip when you rollover the mouse. This might be a browser problem. I think you should check in a different browser.

As per the HTML specification, the ALT tag for images should not produce a little tooltip when courser is brought on the image. Firefox has never done ALT tags.

Alt is considered to be a certain tag for images. Morzilla firefox has never done this for ALT tag that involves correctly obeying the spec.

Alt tag on mouse over is not supported in firefox. Alt tags in
firefox will only display if the image does not load.

Alternate Text is not showing on the time of mouse over in Firefox, But IE should show. To give title text to the image it will show in the time of mouse over.
