Adwords or Forum Posting

Which do you think is more effective? Easier?

I think Forum Posting is more effective, but harder than Adwords, since Adwords requires no work at all, but you cannot say enough with Adwords, whereas with forum posting you can say as much as you want, but it is a lot harder to do.

Adwords obviously costs money and especially with some niches (loans etc) people pay up to like 10 dollars a click so its a heavy bill to get your site across to one user.

All you need to do is be active on a lot of forums and soon you will be known and will remember your site and forum and even put your link in your signature, a great way of getting your site known.

Yes. If you have enough fund and like to use adwords to promote your site or product, you can do that. If not, better you use cheap way and promote at many site and forum. Just use old method. Its still working until today right?

A lot of people dislike adwords on forums thinking that it's more about money making than the community and the content. I am a webmaster and totally understand the need for monetization but I think posting and seo are the way to do it rather than adwords. Not to mention that it's usually not all that cost effective to run an adwords campaign (at least for a forum).

Yes. Its unique. So, even i know many people not really like to use adword, but i'm still like it and love to try if first. I know its really need some cost. But i think its fine if you have enough fund to do that right?

according to me adwords is the easiest. In forum postings, you will have to do alot of hard work. But you could buy some banners on some forums like www.talkgold.com and www.hyipstalk.com and you will get huge traffic for your forum.

Banners are nice to use on forums that contain a lot of members who would go to your site, so you have to be careful.
