Myspace Marketing?

Has anyone used Myspace as a Marketing medium?
If so what were the results,good or bad?

Never used it but it always seemed to remind me of that spammy type of advertising. Not to mention the "Myspace" crowd in general isn't likely buying too much online.

Strange that this topic came up. Yesterday I found a blog owned by someone who claims he earns 50K a month from MySpace advertising. Here is the blog:

Not sure whether this is genuine though. Is this even possible, to earn money from MySpace? I don't see how?

Participating in myspace is definitely a bonus.One gets to interact with a lot of people ,you make friends and there are chances of getting good business offers.I have been a regular myspace user for the last 4 months and trust me the results are good.Once you start interacting with them you get good business deals which you accept and when you come across professional people there are every chances that you could ask them to market your plan or strategies on account of which they might charge you a small fee.

The biggest advantage of using myspace is that you can reach a lot of potential people within your niche and advertise your services and products or whatever it is that you are seliing or trading. Many have earned a decent amount using this medium.

myspace is not full of spam.. its a place for people and friends to talk and keep intouch. its not really for advertising until recently. yes its free and has many users.

There are many illusions and doubts in such marketing and I shall not prefer to market my site in that way. Some what we can say it fake traffic because it wouldn't be related to your site.
