Is Photoshop easy to learn ?

Hi guys

Not particularly. The initial stuff is easy, but it's hard to learn all the tricks you need to know to really do a good job. I learned a lot of stuff on my own, and it took me a long time to get good at it. I'm eternally grateful for the fact that I've had teachers teach me how to use it as a photographer.
And Photoshop is NOT similar to Illustrator. The interface may look relatively the same, but once you start working, you realize there are some huge key differences. I've used Illustrator a few times, and it still takes me an hour to make a simple gift box with a bow on it. Even still, I realize how many things I don't know how to do, but know they exist. Learning Illustrator and InDesign is a completely separate cup of tea.

Photoshop is very easy to learn. it has modern tools and tool bars.

The Photosohop tools and their functions are easy to learn, especially if you are someone with some computer knowledge. How you use those tools and the results you get depends entirely on you.
I mean it's easy to learn what you can do with photoshop, but to do it will require some skill.

In my own experiences, it is not hard to learn to be familiar with Photoshop but it is really hard to use it skillfully. Practice would be the most important issue. BTW, I have used Photoshop from version 3.0 to the most current CS4 for about 15 years.

Is not so hard to learn PS. The best way to improve your design skills is to watch some video tutorials and try to do the same stuffs.

I have learned PS with this method. I have not to much knowledge, but enough to make a custom website design
