UK Smoking ban nearly here.

Ok so i am a smoker and have to take this on the chin, but....I have now found out that because some of my work is from home the law says I cant smoke in my own house!!! What an ARSE...they are gonna have to stick that one where the sun dont shine

well goodluck, its very hard to stop smoking...it took my aunt about a year and 2 months to stop

I wish a smoking ban would happen where I live. I cant enjoy the good restaurants

Yay to smoke-free nights out! I very much doubt every bar, club etc. will vigorously enforce the new laws and I'm sure quite a few will get fined! Not to mention the drunken fools smoking inside getting kicked out and fined!

It'll take time but give it a year or two and it'll become second nature to go outside to have a smoke. Kind of like in the City now, you see hoards of people congregating around doors puffing away.

Thats the point, i understand that non smokers hate it and i respect that, i never did smoke in restraunts etc anyway.
But when i am being told i now cant smoke in my own home, well thats the limit.

I agree. I don't smoke but I'm with you all the way. Lets go on strike :biggrin:
