      Default Failuar

I seem to have the all too familiar Boot Failure problem; I tried the fdisk /mbr with a Win98 start-up disk, disconnected the cd roms and made sure that the setting on the hard-drive is set to Master; but no. First the message said the mbr had not been updated and second back to Boot Failure . So I am all ears for advice.
      Thanks a lot

WELL i suggest you to check your operating system first , might be that may be fail because of some reason and it can also be possible that some hardware has gone out of order (it may be battery too).
